Join me to melt away tension and stress of the week. In this hectic world, where it's sometimes difficult to switch off, it is helpful to find a time to be still and quiet. This Deep Relaxation workshop creates a space to give yourself permission to stop and relax.  Whether you have a stressful job, are a parent to young children, have trouble sleeping, are living with or recovering from illness, or for whatever reason you would like to relax and re-energize, this workshop will support you.

The session consists of some breath work, yoga movement to relax the body, an extended shavasana (layout) and guided meditations. 

You do not need any previous experience of yoga, just a willingness to let go! Relaxation does not come naturally to everyone, but with practice can become second nature.

For many people, the relaxation at the end of a yoga class is their favorite part.  So treat yourself to a total immersion and bring anything you need to be comfortable laying down. 

$20 per person

Join Garth Robertson, as he guides you into meditation with ancient sounds from around the globe including guitar, overtone singing, chimes, Tibetan Bowls, flute, gong, frame drum, tuning forks and didgeridoo.

'Every object has a natural vibratory rate; its resonance. One of the principles of using frequency as a transformative and healing modality is to understand that the body is in a constant state of vibration. Every organ, every bone, every tissue, every system--all are in a state of vibration. When we are in a state of health, the body projects an overall harmonic of wellness. External frequencies along with intention can be used to support and return both body and spirit to optimal health. Sound Therapy has a rich history across many cultures dating back thousands of years. There are many benefits to weaving this ancient practice into our modern day life such as; turning off the fight or flight response and interrupting the habit of being stressed and therefore shifting the body into healing mode. In this state we can gain clarity, return to balance, reduce anxiety, feel more centered and grounded, and become more in tune with ourselves.'

Please arrive at 12:50pm to get settled and comfortable. The meditation practice will take place lying down or seated. Yoga mats are provided, but please bring any additional padding, pillows, cushions, blankets, sacred items, etc. to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Community Canvas: Fun for ALL!

Shannon will have a set of small canvases (brushes, paint, etc.) to facilitate a community painting. Adults or families with kids can stop by, pick up a brush and apply their favorite color or design - ANYTHING goes - No creative experience or ability needed! ALL are welcome to come make their mark! Shannon will unite the smaller canvases with her amazing artistry to create a larger community painting that will be hung somewhere in downtown Hillsborough (exact location to be determined)!!!

Laughter Yoga (FREE) with Neidra

Welcome Neidra to CWWC as she teaches her first class at this location.
This class is FREE of charge. Donations gratefully accepted yet not
expected! Enjoy.

Neidra will warm up the class with deep breathing and rhythmic clapping to
begin increasing oxygen intake, boosting circulation, and stimulating pressure
points. Clapping and deep breathing are integral parts of each exercise thereafter.
She will guide the group through multiple exercises that will spark playfulness,
individual creativity, and lots and lots of laughter! Toward the last minutes of class,
Neidra will lead everyone through positive affirmations and a silent meditation for
grounding. The session comes to a close with a group visualization for peace on
earth.


This first class is FREE. Neidra will be asking for a very short questionnaire to
be filled in. Dress comfortably (and colorfully if you wish!); shoes and socks are
optional. We will be standing and moving as we breathe and laugh through the
exercises but if you need a chair, that can be accommodated. All ages, genders,
and mobility abilities are welcome!

Start each day with balanced basic energies! Beth will lead the group through a series of simple exercises to do each morning and throughout the day as needed. These techniques can be done anywhere, sitting or standing and some can even be done lying down before you get out of bed! Come as you are, no special equipment or attire required, except you may want to BYOB/Water. I will suggest that you take off your shoes to get the most benefit from the exercises.  If the weather is nice, this group session will be held out on the front porch.
