Meditation Group
Meditation group is led by Joe Gilbert. These sessions are FREE and open to anybody who wants to share the practice of meditation with others in a welcoming environment.
Sessions often begin with a poetry reading followed by 10 minutes of shared silence. We then review mindful sharing guidelines before opening the group for reflections and questions. The group closes with a guided loving-kindness practice.
During our time together, possible topics of exploration may be:
-How to start and maintain a meditation practice
-Common hindrances to meditation practice and how to work skillfully with them
-Mindfulness of the body, feelings, and thoughts
-Insights into suffering, impermanence, and non-self
-Loving-kindness, compassion, equanimity, gratitude, and joy
No need to register - just show up! Please email JOE if you have any questions (joe@gilbertmeditation.com). We meet outdoors on the covered front porch or in the backyard, so dress comfortably for the weather.

Mandala Sound Bath
This is a FREE Community Event (Registration required).
Experience an outdoor crystal bowl sound bath with a private viewing of a sacred sand mandala. Afterwards, enjoy coffee and a conversation with the mandala artist about her creative process and inspiration behind the work. Limited to 6 guests.
9am-9:30am Sound Bath with Elizabeth Cash
9:30am-10am Sand Mandala viewing & coffee talk with artist: Eryn Donnalley
Location: 128 N. Churton St. Hillsborough NC 27278 (rear parking lot) Look for the painted shipping container towards the back of the parking lot.
Bring: Yoga mat, blankets or props for support. Water.

Outdoor Yoga and Sound Bath
Join us for an evening of gentle movement and deep relaxation on the back lawn of Cedar Walk Wellness Center. Rebekah Davis will guide a 50 minute yoga class to ground and open the body, and Elizabeth Cash will offer a 25 minute sound bath during Savasana to soothe the nervous system and invite inner stillness.
This event is donation based (cash or Venmo) and open to all who want to nurture themselves and soak in a little peace.
Bring a yoga mat, water, any props you like and a friend. Let's unwind together under the open sky!
